The workload isn't too dissimilar to Year 11 at the moment - it's still quite relaxed. We've got assessments coming up, but they're well spaced, so I have time to concentrate on each one. Not too bad at the moment, but we'll see what it's like next year...

It's alright at the moment, but can't wait till the stupid english speech is over and done with, then no more speeches again :)

You should feel very privileged in your position, make sure you use that time between assessments wisely. Best of luck to you. :)

I'll be happy once I finish writing mine!

I'm very sick at the moment with a very sore throat and I have to present this speech some time next week. Juuust my luck.

I think the workload for year 12 can be overwhelming, but for those who are going to uni, it does prepare you for the uni workload.

ive done all my assessments for the first semester and all of them above average except the gay ass English imaginative journey speech. But im not too worried about it, wots done is done. My 2 maths tests have been moved to next yr as well which is sweet as :) i think... I still think its best to do it now while the work is still fresh in the brain, aw well.
Yeh guys, u shouldnt really stress out too much, its not the end of our lives if we dont do as well, and we can always do bridging courses to the course u want to do with the exemption of other really difficult courses. My friend did his PDHPE test, and he was hyperventilating coz he thought he didnt know his work, but he got his test back and its not bad at all as he's above average. lol.
All is needed for yr 12 is consistency and a balance between social life and school, and what needs to be done is to PLAN the time u use EVERYDAY. In the holidays im hoping to create a weekly regime for school work vs socialising&other things. And also try to fit in a bit of physical activity to take care of ur health and to relieve stress. Sitting at home all day is absolutely shit house, and try to get over the phase of playing the ps2 and watching tele all day. If ur willing to sacrifice time for it, then uve gota pay it back. My bro studied consistently throughout the whole yr, and then in exam period, most of his time was spent on the computer playing counterstrike lol, and he got 96%. Which is absolutely ridiculous, but he worked consistently and he knew his work and i think thats wots needed for a good mark (and he's smart as well). Dont stress out, think happy, happy land. Look forward to things in future life, go with the flow. Im not an overly smart person(went pretty shit in yr 11), but thinking about how everythings going to work and flow next year will hopefully help me succeed if i put it into action. Start to get a vision of wot u want to happen Eg. knowing all of the concepts in a topic and going into an exam and knowing exactly every single question. Doing this helps to get me motivated to a point.
Right now, next week is my last week of school, and im a fat lazy ass and havent been doing much h/w at all. Im just looking forward to parties in the later weeks and the holidays.
:)
I only just discovered this site, and it rocks
