Is it difficult to transfer from one course to medicine?

From what I've heard, very competitive.

u still have to do well in the umat, sit an interview and have good grades from high school and uni. its completely different from transfers in other courses in that theres no number of transfers set aside. you are essentially still a year12 applicant except the "academic results" component is calculated from your GPA and ATAR.

postgraduate entry is another thing altogether. check out my flowchart.

Considering UTS don't offer Veterinary Science, it is impossible
