How do our school assessment marks (Proposal, Viva Voce, Report) for EE2 factor into our final EE2 HSC mark.
proposal, viva voce, report, ranking = 50%

majorwork, comparison to state = 50%

But isn't it out of 50? So your saying, School Assessment mark worth 25, and Major Work 25?

you're being too technical here but i suppose yes

In other words, your internal marks will contribute to roughly half of your external mark, scaling and other niggling things aside (but they rarely make a difference anyway).

-_-' Your school assessment mark does NOT have any affect on your overall HSC result... please examine how your HSC is marked which can be found elsewhere on this site, use the search feature

It works exactly the same as every other subject you do.

You recieve three marks: One is what the Board thought you deserved (ie, they look at your major work and say "this is worth_____"), One is what your school gave them (ie, the culminative total of your assesment marks), changed so that it is at the same level as other schools (too complecated to explain here and now, but the actual quality of your MW does not affect it), and the third, the one that counts, is the average of the two.
