I'm aiming to transfer to UNSW next year if my grades permit, how do i do this?
If you have partially completed a tertiary course and wish to transfer to another course at a different institution, you must apply through UAC. ... (In either case) you may be eligible for advanced standing - check with the institution/s offering the course/s for which you have applied.
Many students enrol in a course with a view to transferring into another course after completing a year of study. A typical example includes completing one year of a general degree (such as Arts) and then seeking to transfer to a more specialised program (such as Arts/Law)
Transfers such as these are possible but very competitive, usually requiring you to achieve excellent results in your first year of university.
Each institution has its own requirements for transfer and you should check with the relevant institution for more information before you enrol.
UAC ranks your qualifications on behalf of participating institutions but the institution you wish to transfer to decides how your qualifications will be used to transfer to their institution.
call me crazy but i heard of a mob called uac who does this
