a bit too late now, but this is to do with sports medicine isn't it?
I can't tell you much about a tibia but you have to focus on injury treatment.
RICER and TOTAPS is important. Also, the principles of taping should be applied (we did a prac on this)

its true.... even though i don't do this option, it sounds stupid to tape a fracture unless its only temporary

yeah of course its stupid, taping is only for support, during physical activity, and when you have fractured your tibia, you shouldnt be doing any form of physical activity that the tibia is put under pressure

treating a fractured tibia

for PDH/pe you only have to go by the syllabus, To treat a fractured tibia, first you should ASSESS the injury using totaps (talk, observe, touch, active movement -they move the area, passive movement- you move the area, and skills). After asessing the injury you have to treat it (because its a hard tissue injury) you IMMOBILISE the fracture using a splint or something, then you have to seek medical treatment- thats all you do because thats all the syllabus said. Our teacher also said though to know DRABC for major hard tissue injuries - check danger, response, airway, breathing, circulation- thats how you treat a hard tissue injury ie. a tibia. Remember to check syllabus
