i heard that there's this [fake?] email address place you can sign up to, and you give that email address to the person. so when they email you on that particular address, they get sent an email saying that you weren't interested. i heard it on the radio, and i didn't note down the site, so sorry

Fuck being polite. Be honest. At least then you wont have some new annoying new "friend" following you around, who obviously wants to screw you.

You can be sincere and polite about it, but it doesn't mean you are going to make the rejection any easier for the person to take. Just be straightforward, express clearly where you are coming from. Simply telling them that as much as you are overwhelmed/suprised/feeling special that someone like them is interested in you, you don't actually feel the same way about them and you'd rather just let things stay the same and not developed at this stage, but you won't rule out anything in the future if things change.

I regret to inform you that, while I am flattered by your attention, I am unable to reciprocate your feelings.

I apologize for any angst, depression, excessive masturbation, eventual suicide and feelings of loneliness this may cause.

Thank you for understanding...

Just say no. Be firm about it. Tone is most important.

Sometimes the most polite way doesnt work. If you stop hanging around him as often as you do then he will begin to take the hint.

tell them that they're not your cup of tea but u'd happily be friends with them.

and then go shopping like crazy (strictly for yourself)

and then run away

and change your phone number

get a new email address

and then run away again
