i've been asked out a few times.

my current b/f (of nearly 3 yrs) asked me if i wld go out with him by sms. I wrote back and said "atm no, but if you ask me in person you are bound to get a better answer"

I've been asked out by sum1 I didn't like much while at the movies (right in the middle of it). I said 'no' and he was all sooky/ignored me for the rest of the outing. Luckily we were with mates...
I've also been asked out on msn... and I've been dumped on icq.

Got asked out by my friend's friend on the phone, but didn't believe him. Then my friend rang and asked on his behalf, which still seemed like a joke. That night, said friend was having her bday party, the guy was there and asked me out in person.. i believed him then.

Moral of the story - its best to ask out someone/be asked out in person. more believable that way and/or better chance of getting a 'yes'.

Had the typical primary school asking outs that never lasted more then recess.
Now its usually in person.

I got no Phsych majors, but i guess that everyone skim reads as in only reads the main words and puts them to make a sentence, however i kinda get a little dizzy when i read it.

Maybe we should actually read it properly....but that would take too much time....meh

so ive left the whole guys situation for a while coz i hate feeling optimistic bout a guy to then only be rejected

hey, i was wondering bout this and because i was online at the time i was thinking about it... well you get the idea of the story, so whats the best/worst, most common and wierdest way anyone has ever asked you to go out with/be with them. it can be at parties or just a normal situation. i'm just interested in the similarities in the way people do this.

In year 5, Troy got his friend to ask me out. 3 days later he dumped me, coz I had to cuddle said friend in the school play.
Year 7, this guy Brett asked me out - I'd had a crush on him all year 6, but by the time he asked me out in year 7 I was over it, and went out with him out of pity. Lasted 4 days.
Year 7, again, had a crush on this guy in year 10. When you're in year 7, year 10 is like, omgorz. Anyway, we went on an excursion to Jindabyne. His friend arranged somebody to steal my seat, and the only available seat was next to him, so I sat there. He put his hand on my leg, and we were together from that day for nearly 3 years.
Year 10, went out with this guy I' had a crush on nearly all Primary school. I got th guts to ring him one night, and yeah... Asked him out.
Year 10 again, I met this guy from W.A who was in Orange at the time. We started going out, but he left for W.A two days later. Evidently, ill fated.
And yeah, next time was in October last year at an 18th. My friend's cousin asked me out after two hours, and we've been together ever since.
