How long does your half yearly economics exam go for? Is there going to be 2 extended response questions?

To be honest, I have no idea yet. Our last one was 2 hours, which consisted of 20 multiple choice, some short answer and 1 extended response. I've got a feeling it's going to be 3hrs this time, so we get used to the length before the trials and final exams.

You're talking about the trials if there's 2 extended response questions.
I'd say your exam goes for between 1 and 2 hours.

We have 62 minutes to do the exact same thing.

2 hours I believe, so I'm guessing 15 multi, 1 extended response, and between 20-40 marks for short answer.

wow!! i just realised that our exams are much longer than some other schools. my prelim was also 2 hours like alot of other schools, but inside we got:

20 Multiple Chioce
4 Short Answer Questions (wothe total 40 marks)
2 Extended Responses (worth 20 each)
=100 marks

Basically just like the HSC, but we got two hours, not three...

Ahh thats tough. They considered doing what they did for our year 11 yearly and doing 20 multiple choice, 2 extended responses and 20 marks worth of short answer in 2 hours. Sounds like you need to find some time for 20 extra marks, ouch.
