wat marks would i ned if i wanted a uai of 88+??
i do business studies, chem,bio,2u maths and std eng

im onli in yr 11 so cant really help, but a mate of mine's brother got 68 in standard english and still managed to get 91.sumthin.

Wow that really dusnt answer ur question im sorry , but atleast now u know if u aint that gr8 at standard english u can stil get 88+

marks can vary, but have you tried playing with SAM?
youll prob want at least a band 4 in std english. Maybe a few band 6s and band 5s for the rest would probably be sufficient in getting 88+

You really cant estimate how many Band 5' or 6's you need to get a high UAI. It all depends on your class rank, quality of school and the types of subjects you are doing. For example i got 2 Band 6's and 5 band 5's (in the mid to high range) and still got a UAI of 89.85, so you really have to factor in alot of different things. It is pretty diffficult to predict what you UAI you will get by just estimating a certain number of Band 6's.

The best advise i can give you is study hard and try your best in every subject and i am sure the cards will all fall right

just a little confused wat do u mean by "quality of your school" i dont understand how this can judge your score i understand teh ranking in that but if im getting
1st in ad eng, ext eng 2, maths
2nd in ancient history, ext eng 1, business and legal

would these rank not matter cause i come from a country school?

^ i wouldn't be so pent up about the predictions.

jemsta's the dude here for it - you've got a fair idea of where your bf might stand, but essentially, its' just head down and study hard for the externals coz thats whats gonna make a difference.
just wait and see - you've got...2 months? before the real UAI comes out anyway.

Some people got 5 band 5s (middle) but still got 96 UAI. That's so strange.

Depends on the subjects they're doing and how well everyone else does in the subject. It is hypothetically possible to get mostly band 6's and get a low-nineties UAI whilst *points to quote*.

so i go to a really good school very well ranked like 4-6 in the state depending on the year and my ranks are..
english advanced 31/81
maths 2u 9/54
maths 3u 9/27
chemistry 12/19
french 13/24
biology 9/40

what do u think my uai will be? o and i need about 94.3

If you get exceptionally high in one subject i.e. 96+ then the number of band 6's can be lowered.
