Words!!

talk about words not pages - pages mean northing! Its easy to figure words, just time average no per line times pages times 20 lines per page.

I did about 1000 words per section. howd that compare to u people?

Meh...

I prefer quantity... just write it all down and get the marker to sift through the crap

Personality: 12
Society: booklet + 3
Historical period: 16
Historical period: 17

That was with massive writing though... probably average of only 4.5 words/line

So assuming 20 lines per page (?) that works out to be 1080 for personality, 1440 for historical period one and 1530 for historical period two

Cramming is the way to go. I promised myself I would'nt leave study for this exam period to the last minute but I don't know why on earth I thought I could make myself do it. I crammed the entire Peloponnesian war from 9pm till 1am last night, and YAY they had a good question! I studied really well for english and stuffed it up, hence my theory: study is bad. Cramming works better if you have a short term memory.

lol, im sure continuous study probably is, in general, a better technique (not that i can stick to it!), but do they really expect that we'll be studying for exams when we're in the middle of other ones? like the day before ext maths i should have been studying for extension history? i dont think so somehow. cramcramcramcramcramcram all the way!

i love coming on here after every exam and feeling shitty after looking at how many pages other people wrote =( lol

why use an extra booklet in the society question ? i think they want us to get to the point by giving us a limited space =S well thats just my opinion...

Yep, I agree on the society question, Tompenny.
I don't know how all of you can right so much, if I did that it would be full of crap and I think the marker would be pissed off.

Alexander- 5 pages
Rome- 2 and a bit- I hated Rome!!
Sparta- 6 pages

Agree ahvan! I mean, 17 pages for one question would kill me!

I didn't exceed what was given to me in all sections.

Hatshepsut - 6 pages
Minoan society - space they gave
NK Egypt essay - 7 pages
Fall of RR - 8 pages
