hi everyone, (all 09 HSC students)
are you the type of person who believes in chilling out in the holidays and doing nothing, or do you study your guts off in the holidays hoping it will enlighten some pressure in 2009.
i am somewhere in the middle. i dont know what to do.

In the middle is where I want to be too. Haven't started studying yet. Just a note to everyone: don't get hung up in having to finish x amount of topics in y amount of days. It's really not worth it. Just do a bit for continuity and revision purposes; if not do nothing. All will be well.

How bout, i'm someone who likes the idea of being a dedicated student, and racing ahead during the holidays...

But has in fact done little to no work, and the closest i've come to formulating a belonging thesis is pointing out at Bondi Beach "OMG those drunk Irish guys are sooo assimilated already!"...

Happy holidays, hope everyone has great New Years Eve (s) :rudolf:

No serious studying yet. I am yet to control my own procrastination issue.

But I shall start very soon!

EDIT: I do about 1-2 hours a day atm.

All this week I have been studying 3-5 hours a day.
HORRIBLE.
But I have to because i'm going away for 3 weeks and wont be able to do any work.

If I wasn't going away I'd probably dabble in some revision at night or mornings. I think we should just take it easy, recharge and get ready for the hell that approaches:bat:

Studying on holidays does not work trustr me. Best you take it easy and prepare for yr 12 which isn't as hard as people make it out to be.
By "prepare for yr 12", don't you mean "study". What else could it mean?

I like having periods where I decide definitively that I'm not going to do work. I did some work in the first week of the holidays, I took about three weeks off, and I'm going to start again next Monday. I do 2-3 hours a day (with no specific study plan), but I take the weekends off. HSC's just starting people, no-one wants to burn out this early in the game. Or at any point in the game really...
