For physics as we all know there is this data sheet provided with all the necessary formulas and units defined.
I'm curious to know how much you need to understand about those formulas, are we suppose to understand how the process, interactions and relationships between the variable units work together or do we just plug in the units into it faithfully believing that the formula 'just works'? (kinda like maths, though i find the maths formulas more easily understandable than physics)
Also how much of the prelim course is tested the hsc, do we still have to know the preliminary aspects of waves, electricity, motion and the cosmic engine as well as how to apply those formulas from the prelim course? Or could one forget the whole entire preliminary content and still tank through the hsc course?
