how the heck do u study for this subjects? (1 Viewer)

how the heck do u study for this subjects?...knowing unless we get in band 5 or band 6 we're stuffed...cos stupid IT gets scaled down like hell....and only around 2 or 3% (or something similar) get band 6's ...wat the heck do we do?
any ideas would be a great help

yeh read the posts in this forum, you get some ideas...

doing lots of papers will help, but prob is there is hardly any -.-

stuyding for it? have a strong knowledge fo the course, if you dunno it clearly or have a poor teacher downloads notes from the mainl site or post questions here and others may help you

in essays:
just basicly just have the wording correctly its one of the main problems for deduction fo marks
eg
stuff the plug in the hole thingy in back of computer
instead write:
... insert plug into the usb port in the backplane of system box

do the past papers and you'll get the idea of whats in it and what ya need to know

its just plain basic knowledge - but yeah - dont forget ohs

Okay, where do we get all the IT past papers? I mean, yes, we have the past HSC and our own trials plus the one available on boredofstudies.org but where can we get more?

Due to the fact that IT is a new subject you have gotten every possible exam there is. The only one that you dont have is the IT speciment paper which I have posted on my website.

So really if you have done of those exams then you have done about 5 more exams than anyone else and if you do the spec exam that will be no.6
