my teacher hates on definitions for saq but ive seen most schools glaze using definitions to answer questions e.g. for 'Explain how a low unemployment rate can co-exist with a high level of underemployment. (4)' my teacher has said no to defining undermployment and unemployment. does he not know how to play the game of giving markers the answers they want or is this an issue with how i answer saq??

Ok well idk 100% but im pretty sure only sometimes you give definitions for economic terminology for SA.
So unless the question is like distinguish the difference between A and B or define A, then don't give a definition.
If the question is just like the one you mentioned "Explain how a low unemployment rate can co-exist with a high level of underemployment", they don't want a definition, they want you to get straight to point.

For extended responses, they do want definitions though.
