ok now I am guy who has never even hit first base. Not because i am an ugly guy...You will just have to take my word for it. It is mainly because I have never in my life had the guts to ask a girl out. Its a VERY BAD feeling when u like a girl but you cannot tell her your feelings. DO girls always expect guys to ask them out?.....IS there No other ways to go about it?

lesson number 1: you don't have to be going out to hook up

Actually I don't think I've ever had a girlfriend who I've asked out before getting with her first. I only feel confident asking someone out after i've gotten with them, at least then I have some idea that they may like me back and it isn't totally random. It works too I guess, no one's ever then said 'no I don't want to go out with you'.

There are a million and one ways to test the water to make sure she's interested and you don't end up looking like a dick. If you're out at a club or a party, play with her hands, dance, see if she responds.

Actually I have to say that when you get it dialed it gets a bit boring walking up to every chick you like and doing the same test.

you do time consuming subjects. (read: exceptionally boring subjects.. in some respects) perhaps this keeps you inside and makes you forget the outside world.

perhaps, even, you're so lost in the world of Doom, Counterstrike and Warcraft that you dont know how to socialise with your fellow orc.... i mean... elf.... i mean... human. i think you should suicide, switch teams and get some new and different weapons. (for those that dont speak nerd i think i just told him to get out a bit more... my nerd is rusty... forgive me )

Most people get shy and nervos when it comes to asking someone out, its only normal...we are human..
Take things slow, don't go up to her and tell her that u like her straight away. maybe get to know her first...or do you already know her?
Girls don't always expect guys to ask them out, but it depends on the person.
Don't worry if ur not experienced or if you havnt hit first base yet, you will gain experience , and learn from you mistakes and experiences.It will happen so don't giveup or feel down
