i'm doing pulse next year and have absolutely no idea how to read vocal score. does anyone have any tips on how to learn?

I think there are some games online where they can test you on note reading. Also maybe find some videos online to help you. But if u have any questions I can prob answer

(Really don't worry abt this if it's a known song you are singing)
important things to know for reading music are -
1. Bar numbers, important for when the conductor/teacher asks you to go to a certain place when in practice
2. These signs and note lengths
𝄐 = fermata --> hold note till conductor tells you to stop
so lengths of notes and how you sing the notes are most important when in a choir.
If you're singing off pitch you'd probably adjust yourself with everyone around you so dw abt notes (unless you really need that)
However if you are singing solo then learn to read your notes! listen to your piece a few times and enjoy! (I'm not sure exactly what ur singing but i'll be glad to help with the reading stuff!),

Also sometimes there will be key signatures. (Sharps or flats next to the clef). If a note has a sharp or flat in the key signature the note must always be a flat or sharp in the music unless there is a natural sign
