How to prepare for Eco essays? (1 Viewer)

I suck at Eco essays. Unfortunately my teacher doesnt really give a straightforward answer on how to answer them and just says to give more depth on this and that and when I do she says I'm talking about the wrong points and I should target the stronger points. How would I know which are the stronger points and which ones are weaker and should definitely avoid? Also how do you structure essays in general and respond to questions that you have like never seen before?

I recommend structuring essays based on the syllabus dot points, so that would mean knowing the syllabus quite well

e.g. Q about drivers of globalisation:

(don't have to include every point, but the "stronger" ones which you can talk a lot about = e.g. trade, financial flows, investment and TNCs


Other tips:
- always do a quick rough plan on the first page before writing an essay (takes about less than 1 min)
- all Qs will be somewhat based on the syllabus, so again know the syllabus well
- and i guess the main way to be prepared for any Q is just exposure to Qs = past papers
