SMS doesn't cost that much but Riviet, it's funny how they are the ones sending it but we pay for it.

Well other than the fact that they earn a profit from our payment, we get the benefit of receiving our results via SMS.

same thing happened to a lot of my friends...

they were woken up by their fone, looked and read the SMS then didn't understand what it meant until 30seconds later when they realised what the hell all the jibberish was about. then entered a state of depression because they hadn't psyched themselves up to receive their results and it had pounced onto them instead. lol.

Release of results by SMS text message – 1977 2346
• Students who want to automatically receive their HSC results by SMS can pre-
register for the SMS service by text-messaging their student number and PIN to
1977 2346.
• A return text message to the student confirms that they have registered for the
service and the results will be sent to their mobile phone at approximately 6 am on
19 December.
• Students who do not pre-register can still get their results by SMS by messaging
their student number and PIN to the service after 6 am on 19 December.
• Students should check that their phone is in credit, that they have Premium rate
access on their phone, and that there is room for messages in their phone’s inbox.
• The SMS service charge is a flat rate of $1.10.

i'm not gonna do the sms thing, just online. do you actually have to tell them u want ur results online or are they just there regardless?

im in yr 12 this yr, but did a subject last yr, and getting them online were soooo easy. ive got broadband, so it was good. but my friend.. she had dial up then, n it didnt load 4 her... so i gave it 2 her over the fone....

so like, if u guys have dial-up, the SMS method might b better 4 u...

also, do ne of u know when the results will be released? both the marks, and the final HSC mark (and 4 those of u that dnt know, 1 day b4 the final HSC marks r released, u go on dat website n chek ur marks n stuff)

What you actually mean is that you can access your HSC marks a day before your UAI.
