How do you simplify this:

If a tangent and a secant are drawn from any point outside a circle, the square on the tangent is equal to the product of the whole secant times by the part of it outside the circle.

How do you guys write this statement in a few words?

The square of a tangent is equal to the product of the intercepts of its secant

My teacher just told us to put (Product of Intercepts)
Similiarly, the angle between the chord and a tangent (Alternate Segment Theorem)
