expecting to be used only work and study (notes) - i guess not!

i made friends with about 10 people in 3 different classsess.

All chinese but one (indian). most of the time im asking- why am i the only person whose not chinese. i feel out of place!
i need some time, then i 'll really start craving for a transfer!

I wish there was a site somewhere telling me whether they were on or not, although CUL100 started second week last year so why shouldn't it this year? Hmm...

Chinese refers to those from China and its colonies.

my firts day was okaay....except the 6 hours it took me to get there and home
and the whole stand up introduce urself to the class
and the whole 2 hour line for the student centre and bookshop
and the fact i made no friends..just went in and out..
and the fact that we got our first assesment which is a presentation about something..that i have no clue what i chose but i chose it

that ACCG100 book looks very bulky, and my tutorial is one day b4 lecture...

I also have stat170 practical and tute tomorow....will it still be on considering that the lecture doesnt happen until thurs

i heard that theres no tutes or pracs until 1st lecture is finished...is this true?

all the guys i met so far were chinese. one exception- one guy was from india- but he was ok coz he's got attitude :uhhuh: but i didnt talk to him on my first day though, that made it more depressing (we met on o day)

ok so i ditched my 2nd first day...
my alarm went off, but i just turned it off and went back to sleep... didn't realise i had to go to uni, still on holiday mode!! anwyays.. it was ok, it was econ200, so i had to tell my friends to get me unit outlines... so then i went back to sleep cuz i had a 3hr gap between econ200 and phil250.. (which is in an hour)... but i can't be bothered going to uni, travelling over an hour just to get there, to sit for an hour..then go home...

now i have a dilema! anyone else doing phil250 and have notes i can borrow??

Aww... just chat to anyone who's not with a bunch of friends. We're all friendly...mostly!

So how was everyone's 2nd Day? Mine was tre-cool. Caught up with people at my first lecture for the year, had a tutorial straight after with the lecturer (who's awesome). Got out of work so I got to see Evermore, had a good time heckling and then being dragged to do the lipton ice lie detector test. Free food + drink aplenty!

Plans for tomorrow: Work in the city till 1pm, MULS stall 2pm-Close and then some bumming in the bar before working 6-10pm in the library..... I'm lovin the 6 contact hours a week thing!

Whats everyone else got lined up?

The PA cut out frequently for the first 1/3 of their set. Totally ruined that song...

haha, yay, first day is over ... but as my tute sed, the shit doesnt hit the fan until week 2 ...
i almost fell asleep during eco110 lecture, i hope hope accg and comp123 are better
i joined up with golf today, tennis and soccer will follow ... love the atmosphere though ... even if it requires 4 hours of travel a day :|
