I know it's a very 'shonky' proof/deduction lol... How could I improve it? View attachment 28805
If I was marking this, I would give it full marks.
If you want to 'improve' it, I guess you should focus more on the fact that perfect squares cannot have a difference of 1 as that is the heart of the solution.

Having problems with this question, so easy, but can't get the answer.

The sum of 50 terms of an arithmetic series is 249 and the sum of 49 terms of the series is 233. Find the 50th term of the series.

I used simultaneous equations to find d, and from that , I got a.

What topic does the parabola, vertix, directric etc come under? Can't seem to find it in my book
In the syllabus it falls under 'The Quadratic Polynomial and the Parabola'
