I got a UAI of 81.15 and i got 2 band 5's for Information Processes & Technology & Software Design and Development. I want to do Bachelor of business / Sc in Information Technology (UAI cut off 85), and the HSC bonus points i get should be 5,
So that puts my UAI with bonus points as 86.15
I was wondering does that UAI of 86.15 gives me a better chance than a person of 85 into the course, or does the person with 85 with no HSC bonus points has a better chance?

they are automatically given out wen used for selection rank e.g. UNSW

some u gotta apply like EAS scheme

depends on different unis, if u get band 5 or 6 some even 4

aiming for the same course ^^

surprisingly, you both have a 100% chance of getting in

the bonus points from relevant subjects at UTS are SOLID, that is, they will be added on and you will get in if you surpass the cutoff, unlike disadvantaged spots (10% reserve)

ANd: you would have a better 'chance' overall because if the cutoff changes to 86 or something, hes screwed

I think my bonus points will be about 10-15 in selective ranking prior to QTAC universities.

The person with the bonus points is better off. Bonus Points are automatically added on in most cases like the performance band ones (EAS is different separate applications are required im quite sure..).

The performance band bonus points are given because them subjects are required within the course they are offered within...someone at UNSW that gets 86** with bonus points is better off than someone with 85** no bonus points, their UAI is like 86 UAI instead of what it was prior to the bonus points being automatically allocated (at that university and for that course only of course).

e.g
if i did my hsc in newcastle right and then apply at CSU. do i get bonus points too?
or is it only if i apply at newcastle uni?

or do mdical science at uws
i did chem and bio in hsc
scored band 4 in both....
do i get 5 bonus points since im doing science and i already did some science in hsc
plzzzzzzzzzz
let me know asap
it would get me into the course
since i would get 75 with bonus points
