HSC Enrichment Days (1 Viewer)

We got a note today about going to the Enrichment day fun by Achper Australia and its at several locations.. but we r going on the 20th of July.
Ive heard there are days run by macquarie and sydney uni.. but the sydney one isnt very good
Anyone have experiences with them? Anyone going to one?
Both our cafs classes are going to the ones at westmead.. our first day of term we miss out on woo!

Cost- $35 (includes GST and student handbook.. my cafs teacher said its sooo good)
Program- lectures and workshops on different topics and exam answering.. theres a list here im too lazy to write it out

Hi,
I went to one at parramatta uni last yr, it was helpful in someways, but i found that most of the info they told us i already knew, but they brought up a few new points.
I found it very boring, and so did everyone else.

i'm going to one in Wollongong on the ... something of June, it's like week 9 i think....... we have to get the train at 6:30am! *yawn!*

ahh the one at riverview is done by the same people as the one in westmead.. just on different days
i posted a thread about hsc lectures in the school forum.. my cafs teacher is doing the cafs lecture and shes really good hehe

i went to the one at wollongong 2day.. got up at 5:15am and it wasn't great.... gee kind of a waste of a day, ah well there were a few useful things!

[edit] today was ok i guess.. they gave us alot of good tips and things for exams.. the guy who did parenting and caring did it well but with groups in context she did it all on homeless.. which isnt one of my in depth study groups so i didnt get much out of that.. but for the limits on time they had it was done pretty good
and the book they gave us is very handy

Yeh the book was good hey!.. We weren't going to do homeless as one of our focus groups now, but the person was pretty good, so our teacher changed her mind! hehe

I went to the one at hunter vally High i found some of it great but other stuff boring overall it wansnt a waste of a day.
I found the book great it will help me when it comes exam time....
