HSC Hopes and Goals (2 Viewers)

geez...i feel old!!! im over a year older than u tigergirl dammit...is everyone else here pretty young (by my standards) e.g. born in 1989? how many ppl (%) at your school do you reckon were born in 1989? talkin about in year 12.

prob about 1/3 of my grade was born in 89 but i am i think 5th youngest.. i dont turn 17 until next july.. it sucks now but will be good when im 39 and you are all 40 lol

My 'dream':
- get UAI of 99.75
- get band 6 in mx2, mx1, chem, phy, esl, ibs (which r all the subjects I hav >.<)
- get into Melb-U b.med/surgery

My reality goals:
- get the highest UAI possible (will be excellent if above 98), 96 at least ? >.<
- highest band (e4?) for mx1, mx2?
- high band 5 for phy, ibs
- band 5 for chem, esl
- still get into b.med/surgery....

Well, kind of flunking my 1st two goals in both 'dream' and 'reality' category...Would not get band e4 for mx1, mx2 unless the cut-off for bands are LOW enough...and that causes me probably not to achieve my highest UAI possible...but still cross my fingers hoping for the best....

MY TODAY'S GOAL:
-get away from the TV
-studying physics n chem
-disconnect from the internet...

I don't but if I get in then that will definitely be a goal for next year. **prays and studies** hopefully a band 6 in SDD, and some good recommendations from my principal will be able to see me in.

my friend turns 17 next september, except she's not one of those people where they're super young and beat the whole grade. quite the opposite actually (as in, she's coming last in the grade for all her subjects).

Goals were once written for me above my compy on a piece of paper.
Now ripped up and prolly recycled into tomorrows newspaper
However..these are sort of new i spose.


1. Finish the HSC with a UAI i'm happy with that will allow me into a media/design/communications course. AND GET INTO ARTEXPRESS!
oh and keep my sanity intact

2. Join the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers) so I can like start working on my own with some credibility...

3. Keep the only person i've ever...fricking adored so much..hmm..oh and beat him in every subject we share...IE 4 unit english+ancient+hist ext
4. Start training to be a lead photographer at work

5. Obtain my Ps by next March/April...(6 months awaaay damnit) and be a nice driver, not some pyschopathic maniac..
6. Start ballroom dancing ...could be fun, apparently u put on 8 kgs during the hsc so why not?
7. Discover my heritage, maybe research it, I really have no idea of my asian background...i'm 3rd gen aust born chinese..so hmmm...shall be interesting

8. ....Join the hare krsnas?

9. Start playing the cellooooooooo

3.Have the best final year of school.
4.Stay off the net (like everyone else is)
5.Read my English texts at least twice
6.Not cram for exams
7.>50% in mx1 exams
8.Single digit ranks in all subjects (woh this is hard)
