aw lol you can't compare people's progresses because people do different subs and have different aims :p

I haven't done actual 'study' in a while lol this journal is a reflection of my desperate attempts to finish all the work that was due from last term haha

Today's progress:
- had a debilitatingly long session with maths (fuar actually so screwed for 4u) and only ended up doing like 10 questions....fak
- wrote half a creative draft (terrible)
- did one EA practice response for upcoming assessment task
- 1/2 page of notes for ft (sigh)

also had a panic attack (note hyperbole) about hsc and stuff...was extremely existentialist a couple hours ago and just really worried about everything, after feeling the failures of 4unit lol I would hope and like to say I have recovered from that episode because I do not want to start the school year in a slump. Time to get my shit together and stop being so down about hsc

(this journal is sounding more like a therapist session than an actual work journal, farewell)

Fk off m8 shes aiming for a 98+ atar whereas i'm only aiming for a 91+ atar so i can like chillax and kickback for a bit lol
Aim higher. People in the 91s even with 5 bonus, pushing them above the 96.3 cutoff, sometimes don't get into comm. This is because there are limited students that the uni can take in, and people with higher atars, but under 96.3, will be given priority. Meanwhile people who get an atar above 96.3 instantly get in.

I'm saying this so you can avoid the situation, where atars are released and you get, say for example, 91.5 and you be like, 'sweet with the 5 bonus I can get into unsw comm'. nekminut.

My thread explained the concept of aiming higher, just saying.
