Putting this up for 6th of Nov.
Good luck for the Physics exam class of 2020 on behalf of all us on BOS!

Share your thoughts here on how you found it.

I hope this years paper isn't as disappointing as last years where they 'hyped' up the new syllabus and it turned out to still have the exact same kind of dumb essay writing.

I'm predicting they're chucking us a 6-9 marker on the standard model or something similar... the essay writing will unfortunately never go away lol

This company called Learnable predicted this years questions and is running them in a free practice exam that seems legit

I registered for this too. I'm doing the mock HSC Physics exam - really need some more exam style questions for some mods.

So guys, the lead up to the physics exam begins! Just finished maths extension 2, feeling ready for some heavy revision over the next 10 empty days. What revision would you guys recommend?

Some bullshit and vague 7-9 mark question on one of the inquiry questions
Nah didn't happen in bio, less likely in phys now. Still study for it, don't want to be caught unprepared of course

I think bio and physics are written independently of one another so I wouldn’t be making correlations. Still, just prepare for anything ahah

Yeah they're written independently but if there have been an alterations to the exams, you could sort of extrapolate the "general direction" they're going in e.g easier, or more or less long response. But yeah, as you said just study for everything so you can answer anything :)

@Speed’o’sound Sonic @Xanthi How do you guys prepare for such horrendous questions? (I'm referring to the 6-9 mark ones) :v
Just know your content very well 😂 I read through IQ’s in the syllabus and search for points that could potentially have extended responses on them and just write a page of points and a couple responses for each

what would they even ask us about the standard model for that many marks??
what else could they ask as an essay type question?

which one do u reckon?
Last year were both power/energy related to nuclear fission and fusion. This year probably something to do with the model of atom and then probably planck, eistein and photoelectric effect.
Just realised you were asking about inquiry equastion. I would say it would be some combination of chapter 10 and 11 and then 14 and 15
