if your refering to the 'contribution of scientists' i recommend you stick to those in the dot points, its so much easier to find information

Esnault Pelterie is in the Dot Points as one of the rocket scientists. My information is at school, will try to put something up on Monday.

My teacher suggested von Braun, but there isn't too much information I can find and extract.

I was assuming someone doing this assigment now was in 2008 HSC.

von Braun is a lot easier to answer:
Main scientist behind the German V rockets that used gyroscopes and liquid fuels. There is debate how much of this work was based on Goddards and how much was done independently.

End of the war went to America and was the manager of the American rockets that peaked with the Apollo trip to the Moon.

HAve a look at your old thread.

Discuss - Provide points for and against.

The Michelson-Morley's null result i.e. no motion of the Earth relative to the aether detected "contributed" to science by providing evidence that aether didn't exist and forced the trusted aether theory to be abandoned (against) however this led to the introduction of a new theory called the Theory of Special Relativity by Einstein which didn't need the aether (for).
