Do you have any tips or hints when studying, revising or even in the HSC exams?

How do u stay calm? How do u keep focused?

What's the first thing u do when ur allowed to pick up your pen?
(Write down notes while u remember them? Start the essay first?)

And what question do u tend to go to first?
*Essays?
*Multiple Choice?
*Short answer questions?

plan plan plan........for essays anyway.........give yourself 5mins to write a plan beforehand and you will be sweet, don't just start writing.

Reading time: read paper back to front. Then go back to essay question and start remodelling your memorised essay in your head.
Writing time: essay down straight away. Then hit up comprehension. Leave creative writing till last because it's the easiest to cut off should you screw up time-wise.

Is it ok to answer the sections in different order - ie have them answered in your writing booklet out of order or should you leave gaps or something so that they're chronological?

Dont be a fuckwit and read notes right before you go in.

Drink lots of water when its over. Not during the exam, otherwise you might have to use the bathroom.

Always plan and answer the essay first, creative second (no it is NOT the easiest to cut off) and short answer last.
