hi!
ive got a quick question about marks, and ranks and things like that.

if my moderated assesment mark, scaled and everything, is 75, but my external mark is 95, will my assesment mark be pushed up. and if so, by how much.

The moderated assessment mark is based on the HSC exams.

If you came first internally and you get 95 in the HSC exams, then your moderated assessment mark is also 95 (assuming you also came first externally).

If you came second internally and you get 95 in the HSC exams and come first externally, and the person who came first internally gets 90 and this person also came second externally. Then you will get 95 as your HSC exam mark and 90 as your moderated assessment mark.

you mean business at UTS?
if i remember, the cutoff was around 89-90, so you would need a few band 6's couple of band 5's and one band 4 as a minimum.
do relatively well in maths ext and eco since they are scale relatively nicely

I take it you mean business at uni, not Business Studies at high school. Search on the UAC website, as it differs on uni and also year to year. At UTS it is around 90, although at UWS it ranges from 60-80 depending on the campus from memory.

I think you shoud look at a B Commerce instead imo.
