Due to my shit UAI, I chose the only (I thought) reasonable degree - Science/Arts. And at the moment I AM HATING IT! The Science is a repeat of year 12 and the only thing I like is Japanese.
I was thinking of doing a mid-year transfer into arts, but naturally my parents would skitz and go "Arts? What the hell will you do with that?"
Is an Arts degree as useless as they say?
I have a really keen interest in Languages, and I was wondering if there was a viable career in Languages, besides interpreting. I was thinking about becoming a Vietnamese interpreter but there's a lot of them already.
Also, I'm interested in Law but I dont wanna become a practising solicitor. Are there any other legal related option (possibly one incorporating an Arts degree)?
