I have an assesment on it coming up and only recently has my teacher decided to inform me that it's not reccomended. He gave two reasons:
1, It's part of the speeches option for the "Close study of text" module..or something like that
2. It's not the easiest text in the first place, he talks more about an imagined world than going on an imaginative journey, sounds like a petty difference, but it makes it hard not to get off-topic when writing essays

We we told by our English teacher that the I Have A Dream speech by MLK Jr. was not a good choice of related material for Journeys, as it is a set text for another module and HSC markers will just assume that you are been lazy if you include it in your HSC English examination.
Hope that helps and you can find another piece which is suitable ..
