Bah...

Chemical / Risk / Safety precautions

2M HCl / Causes burns, irritating to respiratory system / Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.

2M NaOH / Causes severe burns / Avoid eye and skin contact. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.

Chlorine gas / Highly toxic. Corrosive. Oxidizing agent. Inhalation possibly fatal. / Use only in a fume hood and ensure that it is ventilated correctly. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Skin and eye contact should be flushed with water for 20 mins.

Other hazards: Glassware breakages / Wear suitable protective clothing, closed footwear and eye protection.

Overall risk assessment : Significant risk that may be effectively controlled.

The easiest thing to do is to search the chemical name and msds (material safety datasheet) and you don't need any book!
