ok im doing commerce/arts and im a bit confused with the whole structure of the course ...so basically 1st yr is 6 commerce cores and 2 options from the Arts am i right? and also, with the TAS thing i only need to sort out tute/lab times for the 6 cores for 1st yr, so do i need to do that with my arts elective now...or do they allocate u to classes when lectures start?

Depending on your Arts subject, they usually post the tutorial times on the school noticeboard and you sign up to them there (first come first serve I think?) The times should already be up on the School's website.
