Heya's, doing a portfolio, i have 2 literary and 1 pictorial, so i need a non literary so a history text, current affair, news report, feature article. I've got personal power, manipulative, and polital so i'm looking for some sexual stuff, oh yeh. Like women, blah blah, something thats good to go with Antony and Cleo. If anyone has any suggestions, or go to points, feel free to help me out.

What about something about Sarah Palin, John McCains running mate in the US presidential campaign . She is a really interesting woman and so is her depiction in the media. I just googled her and found the following article"

Have a look at it - I don't know if its what you are looking for but its interesting how her 'femaleness' has to be distorted in order for her to be seen as a credible vice president. She says this: "Last Thursday, Alaska Governor Mrs Palin joked that the only difference between a hockey mum like herself and a pit bull was "lipstick"." I mean its clearly 'spin' but I think a read around some of the stuff would be interesting and topical. Also thought it would be good with Cleopatra and the whole chick ruler thing.
