i just wanna noe if people think "THE UGLY DUCKLING" is a good text to do as a related text for belonging

If you're doing standard, it's acceptable (which is still pretty bad), if you're doing advanced, stuff it.

depends. there are some picture books that have a lot of meaning. Shaun Tan is a brilliant author of picture books and his stuff is pretty good.

but as everyone else has said, generally speaking, that's a pretty pathetic text.
