What position would I find myself in? I'm asking because I didn't really take the HSC seriously at the beginning of the year, and now I'm trying to redeem myself. I go to a school ranked 50 (give or take) and I'm currently undertaking the following subjects:

Advanced Maths
Standard English
Legal Studies
Business Studies
Economics

So, would I still be able to attain a UAI of 90+ if I go absolutely chocko in my externals?

Thanks.

what is ur rank now?
Uhh, I guess I'd be around the middle...say 70/140 as an average.

But then again, that rank isn't very indicative as I'm still to do my Trials and hopefully I can pull myself up a little.

Sorry I couldn't give you exact ranks. For some reason, my school refuses to divuldge such information. Haven't got a clue why.

If you get your ranks to say, top 50 in your year. There is a good chance of 90 UAI.

my school is in the top 40-ish and yet we got 1/3 of students with a UAI of 90+
so i'd say u pretty much have to be in the top one third to one quater secure a UAI of 90+..

The externals are worth 50% -- so you do still have half of your assessment to go. It depends on how you do from here on.
