So basically i have decided to go with:
-Jim Henson's The story teller (Fear not) [visual text]
- Like Water for Chocolate [Book]

..and would really like to analyse a peice of art, prefferably an oil painting. Im guessing surrealist peices are good.. but im not to knowledgeable in this areas. Im very willing though; but I have to say id love more oppinions on which peices are the best and why...

because ive relised although film and book/poetry/lyric suggestions are plentiful... there is not much mention on art.

Ive already looked at the powdefinger/dali peices, so something else.. more unique perhaps..

I would appreciate it a hundred fold! Thank you.

Aleksandra.

Perhaps something by Marc Chagall or Gustav Klimt may work for you.
