Two questions:
i was answering the 2004 short answers and question 24
Outline TWo economic effecs of implementing micro (2)
but then past b)
describe two problems associated with structural change in the Aus economy (3)
My answer is basically the same....is that right?


Also: does anyone else find the HSC short answers easier than trials (catholic ect)? Will it be this same standard in our HSC?

Yeah, i think the 2nd part of that question is just more elaboration. Yeah, the HSC should be easier than the Catholic trial. They are relatively the same i reckon. So if you did well in the Catholic, you should be fine.

part b) is looking at problems, you must discuss negative effects only. These CAN be the same as the question before it (your really lucky if you happen to write down two negative economic effects.) Note the subtle differences in the question however. The word ECONOMIC does not appear in the second question, therefore you can discuss Howard's new industrial relations policies and the social outrage this has sparked as one of your factors.

The HSC should have the same foundations as past papers, whether you find them easier is personal however looking at the trends over the years the HSC tends to be easier than the CSSA and about the same difficulty as independant papers.
