Important: Is the Physics syllabus from BOS website the latest?

why would i say that.

Well, after comparing the syllabus dot points from the Jacaranda HSC Physics 2 (2nd Edition) with the syllabus from the current Board Of Studies website (which is also the syllabus my teacher handed out), there was some clear differences.

Mind you Jacaranda HSC Physics 2 (2nd Edition) was published in 2003 if you don't have the book. And it was amended for revised syllabus. Yet, the current syllabus available from BOS website was amended on October 2002. Was there any amendments after that?

If so, then the syllabus in Jacaranda must be the latest.
If not, then... we know how lazy BOS is in updating their website.

What do you think? Are you sure? Why?

The BOS is the one you are being tested on.

What are the differences?

There are many differences, there are new dot points, and some old dot points are gone.

If you have the book, it's at the beginning of every chapter.

The start of each chapter isn't the syllabus. The syllabus is at the start of the book.

Also be careful Module 9.1 Skills isn't listed in Jacaranda either.

right, do you think answering all dot points in the syllabus is a good idea? And is enough?

Because that what i'm planning to do. Write the dot point, then write the answer under it. Of course, the easy ones are omitted to save time.

Ya, it is. It was my mistake for not taking a look at the beginning of the book.

For 9.2-9.4 and the options yes.
For 9.1
Scan through it and ensure you know what the terms mean and have an idea how to do them. I wouldn't write an answer to all of 9.1.

Oh nah, sorry, i was referring only to 9.2-9.4 and the option.

9.1, I'll only briefly read it.

Great, I better start then. Bye.
