a lot of the prelim content (esp for industry study) is in the hsc syllabus as well, which parts have you seen in the past papers?

Output devices (scanners, printers), MIDI and storyboarding
midi and scanning are both referenced in the hsc syllabus, storyboarding is kinda straightforward stuff that you learn from the major project (bc i think they include some of that too), i didn't think there was a lot explicitly on output tho maybe i should slightly go over prelim then

Convert to kilobytes per second (KBps): Since there are 8 bits in a byte:
56.6 kbps=56.6 / 8 KBps ≈ 7.075 KBps

Calculate the download time for 8KB:
Download time=File size / Download speed=8 KB / 7.075 KBps ≈ 1.13 seconds

Hmm I tried using 1000 for conversion and it got me 20.5 and using 1024 it got 20.01953125 which are both close to B so no idea
id assume itd be C if the result is 20.5 because thats over 20MB and they want the minimum, but i kept getting 19.something

you have to convert 200 kb to mb by dividing by 1024 not 1000 so that's probably where you went wrong.

Probably just a misinput to the calculator. To avoid this in the exam type the calculation from scratch twice so you ensure that what you got is correct.
