Hi, were doing Judaism atm. We have a research assignment on Hasadism, does anybody know of a good source of info on Hasadism? I have Living Religion and its crap.

You wouldn't really need much more than a compilation of encyclopaedia articles for a highschool assignment.

To broaden your search for information, remember that hasidism goes by many differently spelt names, specifically chassidism.

A good bibliographical resource is: http://www.shamash.org/lists/scj-faq/HTML/rl/joc-index.html but they tend to reference books and I'm not sure how easily it would be for you to get a hold of them.

Seriously, basic research skills here. Dont rely upon your one and only text + its helpful to get a little more info than " We have a research assignment on Hasadism, does anybody know of a good source of info on Hasadism?"! (Yeah, I know a good source, its called the internet!!!)

As the user above said, a set of articles from an encyclopedia is a good place to start ( I disagree though that its good enough for a high school assignment as that shows little knowledge (or resepct for) of the syllabus as you will need to source primary sources and an encyclopedia just dont cut it!)
