Over the years a rolling snowball of advice and insight from former schoolies has been collected for you to review prior to schoolies and contribute to after your schoolies week celebrations.
There are three main locations:
* Schoolies Survival Guide
* Schoolies Forums
* Schoolies Accommodation Guide
The forums you can participate in now, the survival guide and accommodation guide / destination guides are only open for contributions by former schoolies.
The National Schoolies Website is a non-profit, non-government set up, funded by a non-profit organisation. I’m the Social Worker who founded the project. I’ve been involved in schoolies support since 1994.
Behind the scenes and sometimes front of stage in the media we have been protecting the interests of schoolies in destinations around the country. At Gold Coast Schoolies especially we have been able to reign in a number of parties who would otherwise take advantage of schoolies. We have worked with Fair Trading, the ACCC, Police and numerous other government departments (sometimes to keep them honest also).
Please take the time to review the guides written by people who have partied before you and contribute after schoolies week based on your own experience and insight. For now, you are welcome to join the forums (and thanks to the BOS forums for their support over the years helping promote our work and keep schoolies safe).
