I ran Spybot and it detected "Interfun" on my computer. However, Spybot can't delete it and I'm not sure of how to get rid of it. Also, I did a Google search and it showed that Interfun is a dialer. Can dialers still call out if I'm connected with an ADSL connection as opposed to a dial-up connection?

no it can't.

you could try the other removers like

microsoft antispware.

there also might be a specific remover for interfun, you shouldn't leave it on your computer.

1) Kill the process and any derivatives of it.
2) Delete the file and any derivatives of it.

To start, you should probably paste up a HijackThis log so that people can identify what you're looking for (as well as what to kill with HT).

Update: I did another Google search and it turns out that the "trojan" detected was in fact due to an error caused by Spybot itself, which I've now fixed.
