does anyone have any notes on the ICC - what is it?????????????
or just any sorta important info i could use in a world order essay....coz i am stuck

The ICC was established by the statute of Rome in 2002 it is a permanent tribunal to prosecute and try individuals for the crime of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes, as defined by several international agreements.

the court opened March 11, 2003, it has 66 countries signatories to it. it has 18 judges. The Judge-President is Philippe Kirsch from Canada, and the Vice-Presidents are Akua Kuenyenia from Ghana and Elizabeth Odio Benito from Costa Rica.
