the setup program for the OS presents u with 3options:
typical
portable
custom

explain the meaning of these options

Typical - is like the least amount of files, to be copied.
Portable - ??? never herd of it
Custom - allows you (the user) to select what files you want installed.

Typical Installs are predefined settings set by the manufacture, they have set what they recommend you should install for the OS, and what isn't neccessary to be installed, for example the exclusion of components which take up alot of space, i.e. additional fancy fonts, which can be later on installed if desired

Portable setup, is for portable computers, i.e. Laptops, adjusts for the way the operating system will operate under it, you see like the OS will be installed with certain power management settings, that suit the laptop better than Desktop Settings.

Custom, a self defined procedure for advanced users who want to customise what they want installed for the OS, like do they need any networking components installed, whether or not Games is necessity, this is good for people who wants to consume HDD space.
