introducing texts (1 Viewer)

I understand how in each paragraph you have to introduce texts your talking about,
but say in paragraph one i wrote about not belonging in the simple gift, and in pargraph two i talked about a different theme, do i reintroduce the author and the text?

Ummm I would reintroduce the text? If you've already introduced it, I think the markers know. But you can also reintroduce it by saying author x also explores the notion of not belonging or whatever in text x etc. just slip it in cleverly :)

You don't need to 'reintroduce' either, but you do need to be clear about which text you're talking about. That could be as simple as saying something like:

In Harry Potter, the way Harry is...

OR

Rowling reveals a much more sinister portrayal...

You don't need to use both the text and the author.
