school rank: 40

internals:
english adv - 85/150
4u math - 60/80
3u math - 90/110
software - 5/10
design and tech - 7/10

past results
english adv. 25 b6
4u - 30 b6
3u - 40 b6
software - 3 b6 (tho my cohort is extremely strong - our internal average is 90/100)
design and tech - 5 b6

would also be nice to know how much my externals can make a difference and the highest achieveable mark i can get

Not enough info to make a fully educated guess. 85/150 might seem low but for all we know, you're only 2% behind rank 1 and its expected your cohort gets 120 band 6's. Given your good school, your decent ranks and high scaling subjects you definitely CAN get 92, but i'm only 50% sure you will.

I'm not sure about how many band 6's your school gets because "rank 50~", but I would assume that you would get 15-20 band 6s for each subject. Leaving you quite far away. For this reason I would predict something like 91.50 - 92.50. Hence, an estimate for 92 would be appropriate.
