Well, the Door and Sky High are the main choices for students doing Changing Self. Sturt's (sp?) dreaming and the national picture can be used for changing worlds and changing perspectives... and I don't know WHY fractals in even in the booklet... but yeah, I think if you're not doing changing self, try not to use The Door or Sky high cos there'll already be a lot of people using those two texts (cos a lot of ppl do changing self, I guess)... then again, at the end of the day, perhaps it doesn't really matter that much. *shrugs*

Yeh im doing fractals and "The Conciliation" and "The National Picture".
I think they are better suited 2 my area of study than any others, and also bcos so many others are using the door and sky high.

Im usn sky high. and under the topic changing worlds.
im going to say that her world has changed in the evolution of growing up etc etc
the tone of reality has shapes how she sees things, which changes her world..

its a mess... i kno
all changing perspectives and changing self.. but .. for some reason you can do this.. (to my knowledge)
bloody english and its ambiguous nature.

i'm doing fractals because it's a fantastic text for change (perhaps not so much for the self people) but I still wonder why most people are so quick to dismiss it

Fractals is good to use for Changing Worlds, because it's a comment on two levels;

1.)The relatively recent discovery of fractals (1970's?)
2.)The medium of presentation, the multimedia encyclopedia is deliberate, to represent changing ways of presenting information, with interactivity and other features..

Unfortunately, that doesn't relate for 'Changing Self'. I'd like to use Sturt's Dreaming, but that doesn't work for many questions in this area, so I'll probably be using 'Sky High'.

I'm gonna do fractals. Works great with changing perspective, cause when zoomed in you can see that although it is infinitely complex, it is just a repetition. Plus it goes great with a supplementory text I've chosen.
