Is Anyone Going to the Avalon Airshow? (1 Viewer)

I was just wondering if any aero/space people are going to the Avalon Airshow next weekend (especially first years, for the AERO1560 thingy and/or for fun...)?

No. I went to the '03 airshow. If I had money to get down there, I would've gone (could've gotten a free ticket) but alas I couldn't spare the money on plane tickets.

Yeah, the plane tickets are really steep. If you go at peak times, the tickets will set you back $300. However, I checked Countrylink, and trains to Melbourne are $115 (return) for economy class (though it means you spend 11 hours in a seat ><)

i have flown with jetstar 5 times. 2 of the times the plane was delayed over an hour, the 3rd time, the plane didn't even come and we had to bus from maroochydore to brissy and catch a qantas flight
