English is one of the easiest language in the world and that's probably why it's the one of the languages the most used but since we are not english native speaker, then we always need to learn vocabulary and that's the big problem when we read newspapers.

It actually just depends how close your language is to English and how exposed you are to the English language (which is probably all the time, English is the lingua franca of the world)!

If you're having a hard time understanding/ learning English, don't feel disheartened especially with most people saying it's the easiest language to learn. I had a difficult time learning English as well, but like everything you should persist and persevere.

English is constantly evolving and the words come from all over the place! Plus, there's the pain of pronouncing everything right and whatnot. Just keep soldiering on and I'm sure you'll get the hang of the English Language.

Finnish is ridiculous hard. Because it is like Japanese in terms of complicated endings but even more and they are even longer
Japanese is easy in comparison as a result once you have learnt the two phonetic scripts (romaji doesn't count)
English is difficult because of pronunciation, spelling and large amounts of exceptions.

Chinese would be more difficult than Japanese. Because at least you can use phonetic hiragana if you don't know the characters.

Chinese also has tones.
